Last night, we recorded our make-up session with Slo’ Tom (formerly of Ottawa’s legendary furnaceface). After we wrapped the interview (which was mostly about his current band, we started reminiscing about the good ol’ days, and Tom started telling us about what happened when Nirvana blew-up in 1991 with Nevermind.

The story has been told before, as many “alt-rock” bands found new audiences in the wake of Nirvana’s commercial splash, but I’ve never heard it told so well, or with such humour, as with Tom. Here’s a raw, unedited audio clip.
