Random Orbit Records and Pressed present: Tilda with special guests The Flats play Pressed on October 26th .
Its been a long time coming for these two local bands to come together and share a stage again. Tilda’s Michael Peterson left The Flats to re-unite Tilda and record his recient release Tinker Tailor Soldier Sailor. The Album was recorded at home with Tilda’s long time bassist and “2IC” Andrew Long behind the helm. The album was mixed and dusted lightly with sunsune in LA by Blue Rodeo engeneer Chris Shreenan-Dyck (Sadies, Ron Sexsmith, Blue Rodeo), and mastered at Bova Sound by the Phils.
The album is a “song-story” of a WW2 Bomber pilot who is forced to bail out of his plane and into the ocean. The songs revolve around his slipping in and out of memory while bobbing out safe rescue.
