The Plants and Animals show at Ritual Nightclub this past February was one of the best I’ve ever been to, and I can’t really think of a way for their live performance to be improved other than maybe to have it take place in a building that also contains dinosaurs. What?

Nature Nocturne is a monthly party at the Canadian Museum of Nature where you can wander around looking at science but also drink alcohol and dance and eat snacks. This month’s event features live tunes by Montreal’s Plants and Animals and Ottawa band Hilotrons, so naturally it’s going to rock.

Another cool thing related to this event is that this week was “Week for the Wild”, and Plants and Animals have been collaborating with the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society (CPAWS) on a video series about endangered species. You can check out the series here and then grab a ticket (if there are any left) for Nature Nocturne here.
