Music and art, in most cases, is about community. The artists work together, inspire each other, and they can do great things. In this case, we’ve got some local acts gathering at Greenfield’s in Barrhaven to remember Crystal Szybowski (nee Turner). She was 34 years old when she died from cancer in August 2013. She left behind her young son, Seth, and this event is a fundraiser for his future post-secondary education.
