Mundo Musique: Cassandra Jenkins' "Perfect Day"

One of my absolute favorite music websites (besides The Revue, of course) is Weathervane Music, especially their “Shaking Through” series. Recently, they had Torres collaborate with Sharon Van Etten for an incredible session, and this week they featured someone I’ve wanted to write about for a while, New York based singer-songwriter Cassandra Jenkins. In 2013, she released a great EP, titled EP, of twangy acoustic folk music, toured with Eleanor Friedberger as Eleanor’s bassist, and recently recorded a new song, “Perfect Day”, for Weathervane’s “Shaking Through”.
