There is a lot of great music happening in the city and surrounds tonight. One such gig is Ottawa resident Kalle Mattson, who will play at The Blacksheep Inn tonight.
Mattson was one of our first Revue sessions, joining us prior to the release of his critically acclaimed debut LP, Someday, the Moon Will Be Gold – an album dedicated to his mother, who passed away five years ago.
Mattson will be joined by Wakefield’s The Strain, who will bring their catchy indie pop-rock sound back to the place where it all started for them.
The opening act will be Montreal-based The Wind and The Wild, whose four members are from Chelsea and Ottawa. The Wind and The Wild will get the crowd in a festive mood with their alternative folk sound.
Tickets are still available here. Doors at 7:30 and show starts at 8:30.
