Ottawa’s Old Stereo are bringing their funky rockin’ soul sound to RBC Bluesfest.  Fans of Gary Clark Jr will love these guys. Their 2012 EP Crossed The Line is fantastic.  It’s got a great classic feel to it, especially on the song “Old Stereo”, which lead singer Phil Dunac’s voice channels his inner Michael Jackson, and reminisces of a time listening to old records through an old stereo.  Shaun Desjardins is Dunac’s right hand man, playing some bluesy guitar melodies alongside the rhythm section of drummer Michael Delage and bassist Andrew Bryant who lay down the funk.  This should be a fun show, check them out July 5 at 1:30 on the River Stage, and who knows, they may throw in a cover or two!
