Ottawa’s BlakDenim have released Vanguard(en), a great six-track EP featuring their great blend of hip-hop, funk, and rock music. As Phil pointed out in the RBC Bluesfest Revue post for BlakDenim, they have some really sharp lyrics and a really awesome sound featuring a whole range of instruments including trumpets and tubas. The EP is available on iTunes, streaming on Spotify, and you can check them out at RBC Bluesfest on July 5th at 2:15 on the Black Sheep Stage!
