The Indie Scene and Pressed present an all ages event at Pressed featuring No King for Countrymen, The Stringers and City Limits. Admission is $5 and runs from 8pm to 11pm.

No King For Countrymen is an alt-punk-pop band from Stoney Creek, Ontario. They are actively touring Canada and parts of the U.S. making a stop in our great city. Their newest album Sick & Tired is now available on iTunes and Bandcamp.

The Stringers are an alt-rock-punk band from Ottawa who proclaim to be “keeping it real” while they give it their all on stage. Their first EP is scheduled for release next month.

City Limits is an alt-punk quartet that is fairly new to the Ottawa Music Scene. Their sound can be described as Modern Baseball meets The Ramones, with a bit of a twist.

The Indie Scene is a locally produced syndicated radio program that focuses on giving local and independent Canadian musicians a place to get their music heard by a very large audience. It is aired by the Voices Radio network and can be heard on the FM dial at 7pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Ottawa (95.7 FM), Vancouver (106.3 FM), Edmonton (89.3 FM), Calgary (88.1 FM)  and Toronto (106.5 FM).
