Silkken Laumann

No, I’ve not lost my mind and decided to write about Canadian Olympic Rower Silken Laumann, but about a fantastic band from Ottawa named Silkken Laumann.  Made up of Patrick Johnson, Rolf Klausener, Gary Franks, and Adam Saikaley, Silkken Laumann kick back and groove with some really awesome electronic grooves and gorgeous psychedelic house.  Earlier this year, they released an album called, Not Forever Enough, which you can download for free from their website, and you should because it’s awesome.  And don’t forget to check them out at RBC Bluesfest on Friday, July 4th on the River Stage.
