The National’s frontman Matt Berninger has supplied music for a TV show in the past, performing “Rains of Castamere” for Game of Thrones. For AMC’s Revolutionary War drama Turn, he has collaborated with Andrew Bird to create an epic and haunting version of an old English folk song, “A Lyke Wake Dirge”. Both artists share singing duties, and you’ll hear Bird on violin as well, as the song descends into a drone before its conclusion. Check it out below!
