When I wrote about my favorite video game soundtracks, I wrote a little bit about Chicago indie band The M’s.  Citing bands like T.Rex as major influences, they really created a great psychedelic indie rock sound.  Sadly, they’ve been mostly inactive since 2009, but their short run produced some great music. Today’s hidden gem is a song off of their self-titled LP from 2004.  It’s a great indie rock track, a little rock and roll, a little bit punk with distorted vocals. Somewhat Franz Ferdinand-like, but way better, and it has great sing-along ending.  Check it out below. Then check out their whole discography.
