Peter Sagar, who is best known for his work as a member of Mac DeMarco’s backing band, will release a new album on Sinderlyn in October called In the Shower. Under the pseudonym HOMESHAKE, he released the first single from the album, “Cash is Money”, late last week, and it has that breezy, quirky indie feel a la Mac DeMarco.
The Edmonton-born, Montreal-based Sagar could be this year’s Mikal Cronin, who, like Sagar, was best known for his supporting role to Ty Segall before releasing two great LPs.
