English Indie rockers Alt-J made a name for themselves with An Awesome Wave, their debut LP. Full of strange songs and weird sounds, Alt-J became an unlikely success. With their latest single “Every Other Freckle”, they build on the weirdness. “Every Other Freckle” features the distinctive low bass rumble we’re used to, and the impressive harmonies we’ve come to expect from Alt-J. Even without Gwil Sainsbury they haven’t seemed to lose a step, and it’s hard not to get excited for the impending release of This Is All Yours next month.
