Denver, CO based shoegazers A Shoreline Dream’s fourth LP, The Silent Sunrise is due out on September 9. A Shoreline Dream have gained notoriety over the last few years, especially overseas for working with producers like Ulrich Schnauss, and Kramer, and they’ve drawn comparisons to bands like Sigur Ros, Slowdive, and Placebo. They released a gorgeous, hypnotizing 11 track album in 2011 called Losing Them All To This Time, and are following it up with The Silent Sunrise, which should be another dreamy release full of lush guitar work and beautifully layered harmonies. The Silent Sunrise was not recorded in a usual recording studio, it was recorded in an old barn in Colorado. That should lead to a very interesting album, and from “The Heart Never Recovered”, the first single released from The Silent Sunrise, it should be on your radar. “The Heart That Never Recovered” is an epic, ethereal track that’s hypnotizing, but not sleepy.
