Weekend Stream (August 29): Blonde Redhead, Interpol, Wooden Sky, and Zammuto

A bit more manageable weekend to stream some new music. Here are some of our picks.

  • Blonde Redhead, the legendary New York City indie band, will release their ninth LP, Barragán. Stream it on NPR (US only) and The Guardian (UK only). Unfortunately, there isn’t a Canadian stream available at this moment.
  • Another NYC-based band, Interpol, are streaming El Pintor for a good two weeks (release date is September 9th). Hear it on NPR (all regions).
  • Toronto’s The Wooden Sky have undergone a bit of change in its composition, but they remain a lively indie rock band. Let’s Be Ready sees the band not losing a beat. CBC Music has it.
  • Anchor, the second album by Zammuto – the project of Nick Zammuto – comes out next week. Hear the album by this rising singer-songwriter on NPR.
