Italian one-man band Feexer released his debut EP, Diamonds and Defects, a five track album that clocks in at about seventeen minutes. Unlike the one man band Ben posted about yesterday, Shaky Graves, Feexer very heavily features electronic music as well as guitar and other instruments. Feexer does blur the line between electronic and rock music, it’s really a good listen, it’s laid back and interesting. Of the five tracks, I’d have to say my favorites are “To Breathe”, the title track “Diamonds and Defects” and the super laid back closing track “Begging Time”. Diamonds and Defects is an interesting EP, it’s short, and has a very cool vibe. I feel like the length suits the style of music, the songs sound similar but not to detriment, there’s a lot of potential for something interesting here, and I’m intrigued by what Feexer is going to do next.
