Mundo Musique: Hockey Dad - 'Seaweed'

I have been following these guys for a few months. Hockey Dad are a duo from Australia and they are a nice mix of surf rock sprinkled with a tinge of shoegaze that is truly worth listening to.

Hockey Dad came out with their debut EP Dreamin’ this past summer and ‘Seaweed’ is the second single off that release. Their first single ‘I need a Woman’ is very catchy and the entire Dreamin’ EP is worth a listen.

The duo is made up of Zach Stephenson (guitar/vocals) and Billy Fleming (drums/vocals); they are getting radio play on Triple J which has recently landed them a slot at The Falls Festival in Byron in early 2015.

I am posting their video for Seaweed which is some great home video type footage of the boys. I definitely have these mates on my ‘ones to watch list’. Their music currently isn’t available on iTunes or Spotify, but you can buy their music on bandcamp and stream it on soundcloud.
