Every once in a while, I feel like participating in Throwback Thursday. Today is definitely one of those days. Earlier this week, Indiana’s Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band shared this video on their Facebook for “Big Blue Chevy ‘72” off of their 2012 record Between The Ditches. I was immediately reminded of why I love this band and their crazy style. They’re the only band I’ve ever seen light a washboard on fire on stage. Their bluesy-country style and fun lyrics really fit with the video for “Big Blue Chevy ‘72”, which features a Chevy driving up the Empire State Building, and other silly and fun visuals.
