The Lost Poets, “Mouth”

by

The Lost Poets are considered a mix of grunge, sludge, rock and swamp blues, but I just checked the box of “really good” and “share-worthy”. They are definitely on the harder side, but there is so much more going on with the duo from Stockholm, Sweden. The duo together is producing what could be considered dark, grungy rock, which is really great.

The Lost Poets consists of David Rosengren (vocals, guitar) and Peter Ossian Strömberg (drums, bass). Last year, they released Insubordia, and more recently they just revealed their newest single “Mouth”. Based on these two efforts, I am very intrigued to see what else comes from The Lost Poets. The video and photos are intriguing as well – I don’t even know what they look like, but I suppose it’s all about the music, so I can respect that.

The Lost Poets 2

If you grew up on great 90’s grunge bands like Soundgarden and Alice in Chains, you will have a place in your library for The Lost Poets. Here is the video for their newest single “Mouth”. You can purchase Insubordia and the newest single over at their Bandcamp page, iTunes, and Amazon. They are also on Spotify.
