“Heart of Winter” is the new single from Hello Heart, a young quartet from Owatonna, Minnesota who make dreamy indie-folk. The foursome have a great story. Formed originally by Gabe Hart and Nicholas Zimmerman in 2012 and then joined by Christian Walz and Christian Nelson, Zimmerman and his family moved to Africa, thus putting the project temporarily on hold. Zimmerman returned, and the quartet continued to finalize some songs before he had to return to Africa.

Zimmerman will be back in the spring, when the band is expected to complete the recording of two EP. The first is expected to be released in April. In the meantime, enjoy “Heart of Winter”, which is on our Weekend Showcase for February 27, a playlist of new music from new bands you should get to know.
