“Alligator Years” is the lead single from Twinsmith‘s forthcoming new album, Right Now. The Omaha, Nebraska quartet have been known to create infectious indie-pop, jangle-pop, and indie-rock music. On “Alligator Years”, which was originally titled “John Elway’s First Touchdown Pass”, falls in line with their past efforts, but actually a lot more catchy. The single is a cross between the boppy indie-pop of Passion Pit and the breezy music of Jens Lekman.

This single is on the Weekend Showcase for March 6, which has some great new music from bands you ought to know. Right Now can be pre-ordered on Saddle Creek, and it will be released on May 5.

Also below are “Seventeen”, another single from the new album, and “Easy Thoughts” from their self-titled debut.
