“Find Yourself” is from indie rocker Jacco Gardner. The Dutch musician has a sound that resonates with the imagination of The Beatles and the sonic flourishes of Ty Segall, and these two influences collide on the terrific “Find Yourself”.
“Find Yourself” is the lead single from Gardner’s forthcoming, new album, Hypnophobia, which comes out May 5 on awesome indie label Polyvinyl Records. The single was released about a month ago, but earlier this week the accompanying, cinematic video was shared. The single and the video are below.
Gardner will be going on tour, including several gigs at SXSW. He’s supported by Ben Rider (electric guitar), Frank Maston (keyboards), Jasper Verhulst (bass), and Nic Niggebrugge (drums).
“Find Yourself” is on the March 13th Edition of the Weekend Showcase, which is a weekly playlist of some of the best new music from the indie world.
