Pikara is the solo project of Danish/Swedish singer-songwriter Sara Johanne, of the band Susurrus Station.  On the 24th, Pikara will release their third record, This Hollow. Her last release, 2011’s Constellations is mostly instrumental, featuring intertwined loops of strings, it’s weird but captivating nonetheless. This Hollow seems to be more in line with her self-titled debut, Pikara, full of stunning, ethereal tracks, showcasing Johanne’s voice.

This week, Pikara shares the video for “This Hollow” the title track from the upcoming record.  The strange, ethereal video is perfect for the song. There is a beauty to the weirdness in the song and video, and Johanne’s voice is just sublime. Check the video out below, and stream “This Hollow” and “Title Effect” from This Hollow below.

This Hollow will be out on ÅIÖ Soundings March 24. Connect with ÅIÖ Soundings on Facebook, Twitter, or Soundcloud.
