Another band in the midst of releasing a new album is Brooklyn-based Nevāda Nevada. Comprised of Kathryn Musilek (singer, guitar, piano, ukulele), Daniel Baer (violin), Andrew Gerhan (producer/engineer, guitar, bass, and baritone guitar), and David Olson (drums), the quartet is a self-described Americana, art-rock band. Their debut single, “Anger Tango”, definitely blends these two genres plus noir folk, Americana, and art rock. The single is dark, mysterious, yet catchy.
Buy the single on iTunes. You can also hear “Anger Tango” on the March 20th edition of the Weekend Showcase, which is a playlist of new music from the indie world.
