“Lake Shrine” is the groovy, dream-pop track by Kisses. It breathes and feels like the stunning music of Rhye, and it marks a slight departure for the Los Angeles-based duo.

This is Jesse Kivel and Zinzi Edmundson’s first single in a year, which might hint at an album release in the near future. Previously, they shared a single last spring and released an EP two years ago, the well-received Kids in LA, which was tantalizing synth-pop. Hear “Air Conditioning” and the EP below. They’ve also had a few remixes of previous songs done, which you can find over at SoundCloud.

You can hear “Lake Shrine” and 19 other tracks on the April 3rd Edition of The Weekend Showcase , a collection of new music from indie bands that you should get to know.
