Eskimeaux – ‘Broken Necks’

by

When Gabrielle Smith isn’t busy working with with Frankie Cosmos or Bellows, she writes and produces music as Eskimeaux.  Eskimeaux’s debut full length album O.K. will be out on May 12, but they have shared the catchy single “Broken Necks”. “Broken Necks” is about friendship, with Smith singing “While you were breaking your neck trying to keep your head up, I was breaking my neck just to stick it out for you”.  It’s a great track full of synth and driving percussion before Smith sings the final lines “nothing in this world is holier than friendship” over just guitar.

Pre-order O.K. on Eskimeaux’s bandcamp, and connect with Eskimeaux on Twitter, Tumblr, and Facebook.
