Hidden Gem: bitter’s kiss

by

Sometimes you listen to a song or two and just have to immediately share it. This is happening today and bitter’s kiss must be shared. We love discovering younger and ‘talented beyond their years’ artists, like Sammy Brue. We can now add Chloe Baker to the list of very talented teenage singer-songwriters.

With the help of her father, bitter’s kiss (aka Chloe Baker) has recently released her self titled debut album. The New Jersey native reveals amazing songwriting for her age on serious topics like love, religion, suicide and realizing how fast time passes. Her vocals are sweet and inviting with simple instrumentation including guitars and keys to highlight her talented voice.

We have a feeling soon, more and more people will be hearing about bitter’s kiss. Although not as sultry sounding as Lana Del Rey (more like Leigh Nash from Sixpence None The Richer), she has all the unique elements from her vocals and songwriting to rise into the mainstream spotlight.

You can now purchase bitter’s kiss on i-Tunes, here is the playlist for the album – must hear tracks are “The Rope”, “Love Won’t Make You Cry (above)”, and “Too Far Too Fast”, and “Bitter’s Kiss”.
