“Afterglow” is from Melbourne, Australia’s Romeo Moon. The band’s most recent EP, Wander, is an expansive, cross-genre album. While you can hear the Radiohead influences – “Afterglow” echoes of Pablo Honey and “Complicated” could be the step-child of Amnesiac – their approach is very reminiscent of Winnipeg band Royal Canoe. “Tune In Tune Out” and “Come With Me” best exemplify the comparison. Like the Juno-nominated band, Romeo Moon’s music is creative and brilliant.

Wander is available now on Bandcamp., iTunes, Amazon, and eMusic. Romeo Moon are William Blaxland, Luke Elliot, Simon McConnell, and Kevin Orr.

You can hear “Afterglow” on the April 17th Edition of The Weekend Showcase, which includes 19 other cool, new tunes.
