Astrid’s Tea Party – “Black Swan”

by

Astrid’s Tea Party  are from Brighton and London. In just 9 months, the quartet has established a reputation for creating anthemic electro-rock songs that harken back to the ’80s, music that one can dance to or will have one fist-pumping the air. In addition, they’re not just musicians but storytellers, as evidenced by the awesome yet creepy lyrics of “Black Swan”. It’s refreshing to hear a band try to captivate one’s imagination like a great author does.

Astrid’s Tea Party’s earlier single, “What’s In It For Me?”, is also below. It’s like the perfect weekend song – upbeat, infectious.

You can hear “Black Swan” and 19 other cool tracks on the April 24th Edition of The Weekend Showcase.
