Staring Out The Sun are a four piece rock outfit that completely fill the need for some hard hitting no nonsense rock. The London based band recently released a 4 track EP and each one of the tracks should get you into a fist pumping mood.
The EP was released in February and is titled Break The Silence. With their four tracks of pounding rock n roll, they definitely do break through the silence. The quartet is made up of John Buckell (Vocals), Tekin Mustafa (Guitar), Chris Caller (Bass), and Alex Alvarado (Drums).
The EP has the help of producer Matt Hyde (Fightstar, Slipknot) and proves that they can create calculated and tight anthemic rock tracks. We are looking forward to hearing more from this up and coming rock band.
“Trust No One”, “YMEE” and “Secrets” are straight forward yet complex rock tracks that hold your attention throughout. “Anaesthesia” is the most melodic driven track which showcases Buckell’s vocal talent. The band holds back a bit in this track yet it still showcases their collective talents and is probably the easiest track to garner a larger fan base.
If you dig a little bit harder rock, Staring Out The Sun is for you. Their EP is available to purchase on bandcamp. If you dig them, follow and like them on all the proper social channels or better yet, buy their EP.
