Toronto based Bravestation have been creating some pretty awesome new wave dream pop lately. Brothers Devin (vocals, bass, keyboards) and Derek Wilson (guitar, keyboards) formed Bravestation with childhood friend Jeremy Rossetti (drums, percussion) back in 2008. The name is merged from the titles of Aldous Huxley’s dystopian novel Brave New World and Robert J. Hasting’s inspirational essay The Station.
Their most recent single “Actors” is an awesome electro pop track suitable for any summer playlist. Bravestation will be releasing an upcoming EP later this summer via Culvert Music, until then you can enjoy this track and their previously released single “Haven”.
“Actors” is part of the May 29th Edition of the Weekend Showcase, a playlist of new songs from around the world. Take a listen!
