Today our Twitter Tuesday band is FOREVR a duo out of Brisbane, Australia creating some magnetic shoegaze. With their EP release of Demonstration, they are providing a dreamy and airy addition to the shoegaze arena. The duo is made up of Donovan Miller and Sam George-Allen.

With definite influences coming from Slowdive to MBV and with Demonstration being their debut release, it will be interesting to see where they can improve on what already feels like a perfected shoegaze EP from start to finish.

Sam’s vocals just seem to travel throughout each track ebbing and flowing amidst just the right amount of reverb and fuzz. Yucatan is the perfect opener which can be played around any feel good summer night. Heart of Ice is laid back but has a serious tone underneath. The third track Midas At Night is a consistent and solid gaze track. The closer, Forgive has lovely vocals from George-Allen throughout and closes out the EP nicely.

We have a feeling that FOREVR will soon be known as one of the emerging modern shoegaze bands very soon. They also have some sweet merch for sale, who doesn’t want a gold cassette tape?
