Photo Essay: Day 2 - Dragon Boat 2015 continues to soar

On the second day of the Dragon Boat Festival there was another solid line-up of musical talent slated. It started with Kalle Mattson who I unfortunately personally missed because I could not get to the site on time. I did manage to catch the following two acts. The Franklin Electric have been on my radar since Osheaga announced their line-up earlier this year. When I see acts I am not familiar with in festival line-ups I try to seek out as many as I can and through this process I discover lots of great music each year. The Franklin Electric did not disappoint live either. The headliner for the Friday night was Hey Rosetta! who have really emerged as a force on the Canadian rock scene. Last year Hey Rosetta! came to the rescue for the folk festival when a headline act had to pull out late. This time they were planned as a headliner and they succeeded in both drawing and thrilling the crowd.
