We have shared a few Guiville tracks this year, including a collaboration with Bentcousin, who happen to be a regularly featured band. The two have once again collaborated on a new single, “You want to change the world but you can’t talk to girls”. It almost has an early vibe from The Cardigans and we are happy to share the newest track.

Bentcousin are Pat, Whalesun, Benton, Dan and Matt. Guiville, well, he still remains a bit mysterious, and he’s an extremely gifted producer.

The newest track from Hilang Child is quite mesmerizing. We have been fans of Hilang Child AKA Ed Riman for a while, and his latest release of “Crow” further proves to us his talent. The track is beautifully ethereal and draws you in at first listen. Riman has a knack for atmospheric tracks which is an awesome feat considering he is a solo artist. LA-based, dream-pop duo Satchmode are back with an awesome 80s-90s fused gem that we are happy to share. The track speaks to that relationship you want to have a certain intimacy but it doesn’t quite work out that way. Satchmode is comprised of Gabe Donnay and Adam Boukis. We also have a bit to share about the track:

“On the production side, this was our first song working with the phenomenal Andrew Maury as our mix engineer, and I want to highlight the creative input he brought to this song. Mixers are often hesitant to deviate too far from what they perceive to be the vision of the band. We certainly had a very clear idea of what we wanted for this track going in, but we still asked Andrew to take some risks. He created that awesome moment in the second chorus where all of the reverb and delay falls away suddenly, and it feels like the vocals are pressing right up against your ears. Gave me chills the first time I heard it. It allows the song to reach a much greater level of intimacy, and provides a perfect contrast to the expansive bridge and final chorus.” Gabe from Satchmode.

The duo is currently working on their full-length debut album, which will be released in 2016.
