Video Premiere: The Auras, “I Don’t Wanna Know You”

With an intergalactic, psychedelic sound, Toronto six-piece outfit The Auras are a band to watch. Zany, spacy, and immensely catchy, The Auras are Canada’s answer to Tame Impala and Pond. They’ve released three EPs that were all extremely well-received, setting up for something even bigger.

But first, The Auras are releasing today their new video for “I Don’t Wanna Know You”, and we have the privilege and pleasure to debut it. Unlike their previous tracks, “I Don’t Know Wanna Know You” is more of an anthemic rocker that breathes of the lazy, hazy days of ’70s psychedelia. The video, too, reflects the era with the VHS-style quality, and the band just leisurely going about their business. Their music and future, however, are anything but easygoing; they’re a band to know for 2016.

The Auras are Peter Dasilva, Robb Schaede, Dallas Wheeler, Aaron McCoy, Hank Van Harten, and David Zboch Alves.
