The Weekend Showcase celebrated its first anniversary this past week. To celebrate this milestone, we opted to make some changes. The first change is obvious – we’ve moved it to Sunday in order to accommodate an additional day to The Matinee – otherwise known as the Saturday Sampler.
The other change is that The Weekend Showcase will list all the new music we covered during the past week – from albums to singles to photographs to show reviews to interviews. The different articles we’ve shared this week are listed below. Click on the title and you’ll be taken to the post where you can read more about an album or artist.
We haven’t, however, abandoned the mega-playlist. We’re still doing that, and it is immediately below. The playlist is just longer since it features the 40+ singles featured this week plus a couple of albums, one photo essay, and one interview. Basically, if you prefer listening to what we’ve shared, the playlist is your answer. The Weekend Showcase 2.01 edition should keep you occupied on Sunday or help kick off your work week in a positive way.
The tracklisting is at the very end. Click on the artist’s or band’s name to go to their Facebook page where you can follow or learn more about them. The countries represented are: Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Germany, New Zealand, Norway, Romania, Sweden, United Kingdom, United States, and Uruguay.
