Dude York - "Love Is"

Dude York is a Seattle based trio comprised of Peter Richards, Claire England and Andrew Hall. “Love Is” an awesome pop-rock track that speaks to those relationships that might not be particularly healthy. It might actually be the perfect song about co-dependent relationships.

Dude York recently released “Love Is” and “Lose Control” together. Their use of both male/female vocalists keep their style evolving and growing and they will have more new material out this year.  You can purchase both singles on their bandcamp page. Dude York will also be added to my ever growing list of bands to see live for SXSW.

The So So Glos – “A.D.D. Life” (Brooklyn, USA)

[soundcloud url=”https://api.soundcloud.com/tracks/243084525″ params=”color=ff5500&auto_play=false&hide_related=false&show_comments=true&show_user=true&show_reposts=false” width=”100%” height=”160″ iframe=”true” /]

The So So Glos - "A.D.D. Life"

The last single to close out our playlist is the hard hitting A.D.D. by Brooklyn based The So So Glos. Their gut punching punk infused rock grabs your attention and doesn’t let go.

The single is a perfect example of the band’s grasp of turning a classic NYC-punk anthem into an anthemic rager. It’s the first from the band’s upcoming full-length Kamikaze due out later this year on Votiv!

The band calls it “an angrier and more direct record than anything we’ve put forward before. We’ve turned up the contrast, making the darks darker, the lights lighter, the loud louder, and the quiet quieter.”

This single is out now via Votiv.
