It’s Wednesday and the official showcases get harder to choose between one or the other from this day forward. There are more day shows to choose from as well. Today we have even more bands that cross a myriad of genres and locations.
The day show that wins is Lagunitas Couch Tripping Day Show. It will be located at The Scoot Inn (1304 E. 4th Street) and below is the schedule:
1PM LOW CUT CONNIE
2PM DAN DEACON
5PM WHITE DENIM
6PM THE BLACK ANGELS
Tonight has SOO many awesome bands to choose from, the a-la carte list will be quite long. Tonight we went with the ASCAP showcase which will be at Speakeasy 412 Congress St. They will take cash at the door (wristbands not required).
8:00PM – Run River North
9:00PM – SWIMM
10:00PM – The Heirs
11:00PM – Fickle Friends
12:00AM – The Kickback
1:00AM – Great Caesar
This is perfect for those with wristbands or that don’t mind venues being at capacity if they hop around. It is quite a long list so get ready to plan your schedule. The SXSW App is super helpful if you are not sure where to head next. If we have covered the bands, the link on their band name will take you to our past articles. If not, we have included a recent track to check them out.
