Megan Vice – “All Of The Time Ft. Fake Money” (New York City, USA)

Megan Vice is a NYC native and she has been lending her voice to other bands lately (performing live with The Knocks and alongside French Horn Rebellion). “All of the Time” is her newest single under new management (Peace Biscuit).
“All of the Time” is just what you need to immediately uplift your mood. Vice reminds us of a funkified version of early Janet Jackson or Paula Abdul which brings a hint of nostalgia yet glossed over with slicker beats (thanks to Fake Money).
We know one thing for sure, this track needs to immediately be added to your spring/summer playlist.
Keep your eyes peeled for an upcoming EP release from Megan Vice which we are sure to hear a lot more from in 2016.

Mokita x Kaptan – “Dreamer” (Nashville, USA)

Mokita is fairly new on the scene. He describes himself as “Synth Lord” on Facebook, and after hearing his debut track, “Dreamer” featuring KAPTAN, we totally agree.
We are completely digging the synth soaked track set against Mr. Gaos’ vocals. “Dreamer” takes you to an ethereal place where you can sit and bathe in electro pop goodness for a little over 3 minutes.
Mokita is the newest artist added to the Nashville based label, South x Sea. We are sure to hear more from Mokita and he shares a bit about his debut track:
“I’ve played some shows with KAPTAN earlier this year and we’ve talked about doing a collaboration for a while. The idea of the song is pretty simple. It’s just call to keep going no matter what the circumstances. There are so many elements in life that can easily drag you down, but you just have to dig deep and keep on keeping on.” – Mokita

The Night Café – “Time” (Liverpool, England)
[soundcloud url=”https://api.soundcloud.com/tracks/258429066″ params=”color=ff5500&auto_play=false&hide_related=false&show_comments=true&show_user=true&show_reposts=false” width=”100%” height=”160″ iframe=”true” /]
We came across The Night Café last fall and the talented lads from Liverpool are back with a new track titled “Time”.
Just by listening, you wouldn’t peg these four for still being teenagers, but at just 18 they are proving they could be the next UK act to break out in the US in a big way (Think the 1975).
With immediate indie rock hooks that can warrant massive success, The Night Café have that special formula that could catapult them into the spotlight. Each track they have released thus far proves that and their newest track, “Time” is no different. “Time” has everything needed to satisfy your indie pop/rock appetite with dreamy vocals, meaningful songwriting and those perfect guitar riffs.
The Night Café is comprised of Sean Martin, Josh Higgins, Arran O’Connell, and Dan Fell.

One of our favorite DC-based bands is back with new music this year. Paperhaus have released a new track after impressing us with their self-titled release last year.
“Silent Speaking” is their newest track and it’s filled with more awesome “righteous jammage” like we mentioned last year. The new track includes a bit more of a math-y rock vibe yet still showcases their awesome guitar led talent which brings comparison to The War on Drugs.
Paperhaus are Alex Tebeleff, Matt Dowling, Rick Irby, and Danny Bentley. With their newest track impressing us, we are excited to hear more from this talented band in 2016.

The newest from Orlando based band Someday River have us wishing for a nice weekend off somewhere so we can relax to their newest, “Day Changer”.
The song is laid back, folky and dreamy. Even though we don’t like comparisons, if you dig Local Natives, you will become a fan of Someday River.

Spice Boys – “It’s Coming” – (Umeå, Sweden)

Spice Boys share their debut track which has you realizing this brand new garage band from Sweden is going to change your world a bit after first listen.
Spice Boys are comprised of Adam Forsberg, Jesper Lindkivst, Emil Uppenberg and Sebastian Holmlund. (Do they have nicknames like Adam F or Punky Spice? We kid, we kid)
The band came together after Holmlund came up with the name and decided it was too good to not have a band for it, with all members having played in other bands before.
The quartet have only been around about 6 months but they have completely blown up their hometown of Umeå enough to garner the attention of Punk Slime Recordings.
“It’s Coming” is their debut track off of their forthcoming EP, Spice City, which will be released April 22. The track is 3:22 of straight up punk filled garage rock that leaves you wishing you could witness their live set and party with them after.
