Since 2015, we have asked independent artists to share their favorite memories from their time at SXSW. In just a couple of years, this project has become one of our most popular features thanks to the growing interests of bands and singers from around the world. Forty-five artists participated in this year’s edition, including Wyland.

Timeless New Jersey-based band playing oh so smooth alternative rock. Oh yeah!!!

Man, where to even begin. SXSW is always sure to be a week of madness. The festival was part of a two week tour for us and it was pretty wild. This photograph here was from our second show on our first night in Austin. It was pretty magical night and we made a lot of new friends.

SXSW is a time of networking but also for catching up. This is a shot of our mates in Lightcraft. They’re an incredible group all the way from Indonesia. [p.s. we made a split with them!]

You cannot go to Austin, TX without enjoying tacos and bbq. This spot had to be one of our favorites on the trip. [recommended menu item: salmon taco]

We were fortunate enough to be invited to the House of Vans bbq one day where we were given free vans kicks, delicious BBQ, and cookies and cream ice pops. [it’s the little things people]

We were fortunate enough to make it out to some incredible shows in our off time in Austin. This one in particular was Colony House at the Pandora House. This band is on their way up and we highly recommend checking them out!

This right here is a life saver. This dolly has made it through three SXSW adventures.

This is a shot from our press day with Big Picture Media. We found out that we were best friends with a band called Edison. Making new mates has to be the best part of SXSW.

We get weird sometimes.

Austin is one of the more beautiful cities we stopped at on our Snake Hill tour. Just at the edge of downtown we found ourselves at this creek side bar.

They even have a tunnel.

This was a shot from our last day in Austin. At this point, we were pretty exhausted. It was the hottest day of the week and we were filled with tacos, bbq and excitement. [p.s. we got sun burns on our necks that day too].
