One week down and fifty more to go, and we kick off the near year with a playlist that is almost as long as our Mega, Mega Playlist of 2017. Ok, the Weekend Showcase 4.01 edition is not quite that long – it’s about a third of the length – but at 58 songs it’s a bit of monster. This just provides evidence on great of a week it has been in terms of sharing new music – and we had at least another 50 that we strongly considered. Maybe we’ll share some of them next week.
In the meantime, this week’s mega playlist features artists from 17 countries, including: Australia, Canada, Denmark, Ecuador, England, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, New Zealand, Niger, Norway, South Africa, Spain, Ukraine, and the United States.
The playlist and tracklisting, as usual, follows the list of articles from the past week. The SoundCloud version has all 58 songs, although some may require a GO account, while the Spotify playlist has 53 songs.
Enjoy the great music and discover music’s hidden gems.
