Remember the 90s? Tindervox sure does. When I hear this band (and especially Kara’s voice), I hear some Joydrop, and some early Sub Pop noise. It’s slowed down Grade A jangle pop with some grungy/punk thrown in for good measure. This is a band to see on any stage, so they’re one of my top picks for the festival this year. Even though their gig is in the mid-afternoon, the Theatre will surely feel like a late night rock club.
