RBC Bluesfest Revue, July 11 – Amanda Rheaume and Keturah Johnson

Just two Ottawa-area performers on the slate for Bluesfest today. It’s an interesting pairing as one is a veteran singer-songwriter who has been recognized among the best in the region and Canada and the other is a young singer-songwriter who is well on her way to becoming a star. Both perform at 6:00 tonight.

  • Amanda Rheaume has been a part of the Ottawa music scene for years. She’s inspired many young musicians and has been a role model for her community. Her folk-blues sound is a perfect way to get the weekend started. Amanda will be performing on the River Stage.
  • Keturah Johnson is a star waiting to explode. Her raw, honest style recalls PJ Harvey. Don’t believe us? Check her out at the Barney Danson Theatre.
