NYC-based The Teen Age have been rocking NYC clubs and dive bars for the better part of three years. Their combination of garage pop-rock and post-punk rock have resulted in a cult following. With a track like “Low Cunning”, their fanbase should only grow. Shimmering guitars and an ’80s vibe, what’s not to like? The single officially comes out April 7 on Old Flame Records.
The band has also released some other infectious singles over the past few months. They can be heard below, including the “Stop/Sleep Alone” split single and one of their first singles, “Evil”, which has an Editors meets Interpol vibe.
You can hear “Low Cunning” and 19 other tracks on the April 3rd Edition of The Weekend Showcase , a collection of new music from indie bands that you should get to know.
