Summer Camp has a pretty sweet version of “What’s Up” originally sung by Four Non Blondes. Summer Camp is husband-wife duo Elizabeth Sankey and Jeremy Warmsley. We reviewed their album Bad Love earlier this year and the London based duo is about to embark on a fall tour.
The cover frames Sankey’s voice perfectly and transforms the original tune into a bit of an ethereal pop gem. If you are looking to catch the duo stateside, they will be in Brooklyn, NY on October 27th at Knitting Factory and in Los Angeles, CA at the Bootleg Theater on October 30. There are also a few UK dates which you can check out on their website.
