Before The Revue, Kevin did the Capital Revue” series for The Ottawa Citizen. He invited me to a quick podcast, which I featured PS I Love You, the underrated garage-rock duo from Kingston, Ontario. Yesterday, they released a new single, “Friends Forever”, which is more hook laden and a catchy tune. In some ways, it resembles Vancouver’s The Pack A.D.’s transformation – away from the raw garage rock to a raw rock-pop sound. The addition of keys adds a new layer to PS I Love You’s music, giving it that bit of pop feel. “Friends Forever” is below. It’s a pretty great track, and a great one for the summer.

The band also will have a new EP coming out soon, specifically on July 22, called, For Those Who Stay. To help promote the album, you can listen and download (for free) the album’s title track on Noise Trade. There are also three remixes of the song from Teen Daze, Young Galaxy, and Princess Century.
