Holy Oker – “Volcura”

by

On Wednesday, Greg Bevis, who is the drummer for Bear Mountain, unexpectedly released his second EP under his solo project, Holy OkerVolcura is experimental electronica that echoes of the brillance of Thom Yorke’s solo project and side project, Atoms for Peace. The title track, “Volcura”, best reflects the layered sonic landscapes that Bevis creates – it is ethereal, haunting, and stunning. This latest EP follows on his Diamonds EP, which Bevis released in November 2014.

The four tracks are below and they can be downloaded for free by clicking on the SoundCloud audio links.

“Volcura” can be found on the March 20th edition of the Weekend Showcase, which is a playlist of new music from the indie world.
