“Lied” by Gothenburg shoegaze band Afraid of Stairs is actually an old track. Released a year ago as part of a 7″ split single, Afraid of Stairs have re-released the single on their SoundCloud page, and we’re thankful that they did. The song is atmospheric and dreamy and just sweet deliciousness on the ears.
The band hasn’t been very busy of late, but we hope they get back to writing new music because their past efforts, such as The Smiths-esque “Little Voice”, are quite fantastic.
