RUNNERS - "Up Against The Wall" Premiere

We have the pleasure of premiering “Up Against The Wall” by Los Angeles based Runners. The band formed last year and consists of Kyle Buckley, Nicholas Caceres, Renzo Bravo, Ryan Wood and Chris Wood.

“Up Against The Wall” is an upbeat rock track with a serious lyrical tone. The track is off of their forthcoming self-titled debut EP and has a bit of an 80s rock vibe yet is still fresh for today. The bands influences vary and at times can be spontaneous which creates a unique listening experience. Their writing style is a process of evolution as it is usually born out of a simple idea, basic harmonies, and a rough melody outline. Arrangements are then reworked by all members.

This collaborative effort is a promising one for this new and emerging band. We look forward to hearing more from RUNNERS and will be on the look out for their upcoming debut EP.
